[Imc-alternatives] INVITATION: IMC Alternatives code-sprint, Saturday, May 30

I just sent this invitation out about the code sprint on May 30.  I'm 
not on imc-tech or imc-drupal-dev so it may wait there for a while to 
get approved, so if anyone else who can post on those lists would 
post it the message can go up faster.

Hello!

This is going out to people on the imc-alternatives list, to others 
who have participated in previous Alternatives site code sprints and 
to the imc-drupal-dev, imc-cms and other imc tech lists.

The Indymedia Alternatives project is a currently forming 
globally-organized topic-based IMC that intends to be a "next 
generation" IMC site, both in its content and its technical 
architecture.  The Alternatives IMC will focus on positive steps 
people are taking around the world to create viable alternatives to 
the current social, political and economic structures.  It intends to 
not only be a hub for information about these Alternatives, but a 
networking hub for the community of those who are actively building them.

The Alternatives IMC group is working on a basic test site that will 
enable us to start posting exciting and inspiring content.  We're 
currently building a Drupal site, and are planning a code sprint for...

SATURDAY, MAY 30.  We are currently planning to meet from at least 
11am to 3pm U.S. eastern time, which is 15:00 to 19:00 GMT.

YOU ARE INVITED!!

Our goal for May 30 is to get the very basics of our test site at

and making strides toward getting our proposed design in place and 
with the newswire and features columns fully functional.  If you're 
curious what needs to be done, or can't make it on May 30 but would
