[Imc-alternatives] tech irc meeting Monday/Tuesday (June 1/June 2)

Hi imc-alternatives,

Josh and I just had an awesome alternatives code sprint.  I'll write 
up a report over the next couple days, but basically we went through 
the test site and figured out what we have to do to make it work and 
we also played around with Drupal and figured out a ton of 
things.  It was really exciting to finally feel like we understand 
how all the magic happens.

In the meantime, as Strypey suggested in his last message (to which I 
think I owe a direct reply), let's start to have IRC meetings every 
Monday night (10:30pm Philadelphia time)/Tuesday midday (2:30 
Aotearoa time), alternating between tech meetings and content 
meetings.  [Europeans, speak up if you want to be involved and we'll 
figure something out.]

This week, Monday June 1/Tuesday June 2, will be a tech 
discussion!!  Join Josh and me in the #alternatives channel of 
chat.indymedia.org to talk through the next steps for the tech side 
of the site.  Now that I, a non-drupalizer, understand more about 
what's going on inside the site, I can help non tech-savvy people who 
are interested in participating in the tech part get an idea of how 
to get involved.

Next week, Monday June 8/Tuesday June 9 we'll talk content.
