Thanks Ian for sending this through. Just in case anyone found it hard  
to read with all the >> marks here it is again.

Ian has already mentioned the domain name. Thanks to those who gave  
feedback to 'version 1.0' of the AIR site.  I have tried to take all  
of that on board although we may still need some group discussion on  
one or two things.

I have just done another major upgrade including:
* changing 'draft mission statement' to 'what we do' which is much  
less corporate-sounding and more accurate and tweaking the text.  I  
imagine this text changing and evolving a lot as we incorporate  
everyone's feedback and suggestions.

* adding a separate section for the free software recommendations.  I  
could move all the arguments about free software from the 'what we do'  
text to here and just have a brief reference to free software use in  
that text if people want that.  Also if you have any more software  
suggestions (libre or otherwise) send them in and I will add them to  
that page.

* adding a 'free audio' section which refers to Radio4All,  
Radio.Indymedia.org and our archive of UTR, EcoShow etc on Paranode.

* changing the way the station names and broadcast areas are laid out  
(thanks for the tip on that Ian)

* altering the link to my contacts (which are only there in case  
readers have suggestions about the site, find broken links etc) at the  
bottom each page to "Site Design by Strypey".  If others muck in and  
help with or take over the maintenance of this site I will happily put  
their handle there and a link to their contacts ;)

* tweaking all the text to give the correct impression that AIR is a  
means of co-operation between voluntary free radio activists involved  
in a range of independent projects *not* a membership organisation.   
Again any suggestions on further tweaking the text to get this right  
is welcome.

If there is anyone on the list whose project is not currently listed  
on the site and wants to be added please contact me.  If you are sort  
of interested but have some concerns that are stopping you wanting to  
be listed please contact me and we can discuss and resolve these.

Hopefully we will have some new stations and projects getting set up  
or becoming part of the network as a result of Ramsay's leaflet that  
Ian and myself spoke to people about at the Greens conference.  It  
would be good to have our basis for co-operation clarified to  
everyone's satisfaction so we can be unified in welcoming this new  
wave of involvement.
