It also assumes people have sufficient bandwidth which in the case of
people on dial-up or even slow DSL at peak times they don't.

True, true. I have a few other ideas to throw into the mix as we
progress with the migration but more on that later.

OK then. Would this still be fine if we started uploading say 3-4
half-hour radio shows a week?

Aaron has been using the space we organised on Paranode (about the
time we migrated to DadaIMC) to upload Under the Radar which is being
played on microradio stations around the country. This has also been
used for the Social Forum and EcoShow recordings.

If this space is not needed for AIM I might contact Paranode and see
how they feel about the space being formally annexed by Aotearoa
Information Radio (AIR). BTW I have the AIR website 1.0 up on Enzyme:
http://air.enzyme.org.nz/

Ideally I'd like to set up a publishing system on that site where
audio could be uploaded directly to Paranode (either open-publishing
or using a password) and displayed in an index. I'd also like to work
in more with radio.indymedia.org. If anyone feels like helping with/
taking on the tasks of developing the AIR site give me an email and/or
join imc-aotearoa-radio.
