Kia ora,
This was an email that I forwarded around a number of you.
As a result Peter's short film about Timor Leste/ East
Timor has been shown by this New York network. Does anyone
else have short pieces that might be distributed through
this channel? If so email Felix on the address below.

Hello everyone. To refresh your memories, I am Felix Leo
Campos. During the course of the year, I have been
searching for independt media producers to create a network
for a collaborative project to publicize activities that are
focused on social justice issues and progressive social
alternatives. You have been the ones to have replied and
state that you were interested in the project.
I am getting closer to the goal of securing P.E.G.
(Public, Education, & Governemnt) Access TV airtime in New
York City among other places. I would like to incorporate
your field work in the program. I need your submitted
footage to be in broadcast ready form. Segments should be
3 to 5 minutes in length with segment title, narration and
titles. You may consider doing your submission in a news
format or as a mini documentary (5 to 7 minutes in length).
Credits should be listed separately after the report with
about 60 seconds of black inbetween. This way, I can
insert your credits at the end of the episode. Apart for
that I am offering to promote your independent productions
as a psa (public service announcement) on each program.
The format is DC CAM or Mini DV. The subject matter is up
to you. However, if there are annual events going on, let
me know, I can then program episode by theme and we can
work on the annual/repetitive events.
If you live or work in a region or country that has some
form of community media, as a group we can apply through
you, and telecast (& web stream) the programs. The sooner
you decide and can send me your submissions, the sooner we
can go on air. Target is June 2004. You can send your
tapes to: AfterDark CATV PROductions, Inc

"Anarchism's great project is to dissolve the asymmetry of
power. How? There are thousands of alternatives and there
is
not only one solution. To advance 'one' solution would be a
doctrine of power, a manifestation of power."
