The Taser 'stun gun' fires barbs which penetrate the skin and then
administer a single or prolonged electric shock of 50,000 volts. It is being
introduced here in New Zealand for the first time and many New Zealanders
have grave concerns about this proposed trial of the Taser which is due to
start in September this year in our main cities. Watch several short films
of people in USA getting taserd. Don't miss it in  'Insight' segment of
Darpan-The Mirror this Saturday August 5th on Triangle TV. 

This will be followed by Darpan's Local News. Watch out for comprehensive,
exciting & interesting news stories in the weekly news roundup. This weeks'
Darpan's Local News will feature a special story on the ongoing 'rates'
controversy. Internationally acclaimed documentary Weapons of Mass Deception
is soon going to air on Darpan-The Mirror. 

 

Watch out for a special announcement at the end of the programme.

 

A reminder that Darpan-The Mirror goes on the air on Triangle TV every
Saturday from 2 to 3 PM with a repeat on the same day at 11 in the night.
