ATLANTA January 18, 2006 ART PAPERS 7th annual Art Auction,
Atlantas largest and most exciting visual art event, will return
to Mason Murer Fine Art from February 10 - 11, 2006.
This annual silent auction is ART PAPERS largest fundraising
effort and also serves as the closing event for the annual Atlanta
Gallery Associations ATLart.
With 400 invited renowned and emerging artists contributing work
to this event, guests are afforded the unparalleled opportunity
to view and purchase a wide variety of exceptional work in one location.
Some of these artists include: William Cordova, Stan Douglas,
Sam Durant, Charlotte Gyllenhammar, Scott Ingram, Marcus Kenney,
Jiha Moon, Odili Donald Odita, Ruby Osorio, Joseph Peragine,
Andrew Ross, Michael Scoggins, Felice Sharp, Katherine Taylor,
and James Way. For a full list of artists and images, please
contact the ART PAPERS office. Fritti, Rolling Bones,
Sun In My Belly, Sotto Sotto, The Sun Dial and Warren Huntly Presents,
will provide delicious food and drink selections alongside
unique sound creations from local djs John Otte & DJ Nav.
Official after party at Bazzaar Midtown.
This year, ART PAPERS will offer participating artists up to 30%
of the proceeds from this event. Additional funds raised will
support the ongoing publication of ART PAPERS Magazine and
ART PAPERS LIVE!, an ongoing lecture series featuring prominent
figures in the arts.
ART PAPERS commitment to art and artists begins at the local level
and expands to communities across the U.S. and abroad with
award-winning coverage of the best contemporary art everywhere.
The organizations annual auction reflects this commitment
with a large percentage of Georgia artists represented alongside
prominent national and international artists.
A collectors preview on Friday, February 10th will offer a unique
opportunity for guests to join the Editors and Board of
ART PAPERS for a sneak peek at whats offered and allow eager
art lovers advance bidding and an exclusive opportunity to
purchase select works. Table 1280, the events exclusive
caterer, will provide a special selection of light eats
and exquisite wines and beverages.
