that's a mighty long cc: list up above. Are all of the atlanta imc people
on one list, perchance?
The Poor News folks should be pretty easy to contact- they are based here
in the SF Bay Area. If contacting them thru the email address on the
website doesn't work, I can round up a couple of email addresses.
I have found that they seem to... overlook... Indymedia in terms of
publicizing events, getting out the word about what they do, etc. And
they've got some folks who have very strong personalities. In other
words, they might be a bit hard to work with. Or not. (My partner just
told me that he recently heard Tiny talking on the radio about how they
had gone broke years ago and written a book and etc, but really, it's a
question of priorities-- cuz they do still exist and do stuff, and what
they see as effective- probably if they see Indymedia as having resources
to contribute, we'd be welcomed in some way or other...)
USSF is not on my personal/political radar. I don't know what I'm doing
after I get over this laryngitis and I have a fear of committing to things
that are going to cost a lot of money.
