The Atlanta Independent Media Center and Georgia for Democracy are pleased to present a FREE screening of "Chisholm '72: Unbought and Unbossed" Sunday March 6th at 7pm Red Light Cafe 553 Amsterdam Ave Atlanta GA 30306 404-874-7828

Please join us for a screening of this documentary. Featuring stirring archival footage, period music, and interviews with supporters, opponents, and observers, and Chisholm's own commentary - then and now - "CHISHOLM '72" is a remarkable recollection of a campaign that broke new ground in politics,
and truly reached out to "the people". In case you are too young to remember, in 1972 Shirley Chisholm became the first black woman to run for president, and (this will sound familiar) she was shunned by the political establishment.
