This documentary takes you behind the closed doors of the US Foie Gras 
industry,
exposing the daily pain and torture inherent to the production of this 
cruel delicacy.
Over the course of this year long investigation, fifteen of these long 
suffering birds were able to be rescued.
Delicacy of Despair is the haunting portrait of the tens of thousands of 
ducks who are left behind and the fifteen who found freedom.

After Screening this documentary at a conference at Syracuse University, 
Sarahjane Blum (Gourmet Cruelty Spokesperson)
was arrested and charged with Felony Burglary for the open rescue of 
ducks from Hudson valley Foie Gras Factory Farm in New York.
