Elections results online

Auckland City's electoral officer, Dale Ofsoske will post the results of
the Auckland city local authority elections on the Auckland City web
site www.aucklandcity.govt.nz on Saturday 9 October after votes close at
noon.

Mr Ofsoske expects progress results to be available at about 1pm.  This
includes most votes counted except those received on Saturday morning
and via the library ballot boxes.

The preliminary results which include all votes except special votes
will be updated later in the day after checking processes are completed.

The results of Auckland City's elections will be finalised on Wednesday
13 October after the counting of special votes following which Mr
Ofsoske will make his official declaration.  

It is expected that the new council and community boards will take
office at midnight on Wednesday 13 October.
