[imc-auckland-video] PROPOSAL for an Indymedia Meeting, 2nd week of October 10-14

I propose we plan for an Indymedia meeting in the second week of October.

Currently, I'm available every night except for Wednesday the 12th.

Shall we say 7pm, somewhere central? (I can cc this to Bobo to see if the
activist lounge in East or West St (off K'Rd) would be available).  Any
other suggestions for venue - in the past, we've used the parlour of the
Methodist mission for a koha donation....?

I can volunteer to convene the meeting. Could someone else keep a loose
record of minutes for posting on the loop and wiki (I suggest these roles be
rotated  for future meetings).

What agenda items do we need?

1.  Recap on what Indymedia is about - the international and Aotearoa
context
    - Indymedia Antidote screenings
    - Video group
2.  Ways of making indymedia activities in Auckland sustainable
    - encouraging new people to participate
    - networking with community groups
    - workshops...
    - regular meetings:  monthly, or more often?
3.  Funding protocols
4.  Indymedia Aotearoa weekend in Wellington

Other suggestions?

Shall we keep this proposal open until October 1, then post a summary of
feedback / settlement of date etc.?

I'll post reminder emails once a week over the next month
