[imc-auckland-video] SCREENINGs - second thoughts

Yeah - on second thoughts.........

I take all Kim's points too.

I think basically she is right - the only thing is that as we have already
booked the Classic I wouldn't like to put Scott out two weeks out.

It's really important to the screenings to keep that venue 'sweet' as it
were. Maybe we should ask Scott what his feelings about late cancellations
are - he might be fine about it - I don't know.

Maybe, if you do go ahead with it in two weeks, the next screening shouldn't
be until May to prepare for it properly - so perhaps we should cancel the
April screening.

That gives Scott the opportunity to book something else for that Sunday in
April.

I am out of town until 14 March - so I can't be much help until then after
which I am happy to help a bit with publicity if it does go ahead.

I also think that those who are going to do most of the work (Mandy and co
it seems at this stage) should decide.

The film is good and that night F27 was a bad night to get a crowd with the
Lantern Festival and AK05 on as well. Like G said it might be worth trying
again.....

Sorry to be inconclusive

Chloe

I think Kim makes some really useful points, although I can see the logic of
a repeat screening if the turnout wasn't that great.

Because I'm only in a position to source programming material, I can't
really speak to the idea of monthly screenings - that's a decision for
people setting the screenings up to make. Personally though, I agree with
Kim that every two months may be more realistic for people's commitment
levels (both the setup team, and the audience).

Still everything's worth testing out - you don't know until, blah, blah
