Hiya
I sent a message out about this a couple of months back - it would be great
to have different people representing for Indymedia (and a couple of people
could talk and take questions at each session). Even better if people from
down country are in Auckland during these dates. Can you let me know if
you're up for it as soon as poss.? I would prefer to do only one session
with someone else, but can be there as a backup if necessary for the other
session.
Can anyone do up an A5 information flyer for distribution? We have funds to
pay for copying etc. Be great to get the word out about indymedia ethos,
screenings and website etc.
Cheers, G

> INAUGURAL HUMAN RIGHTS FILM FESTIVAL
> Auckland 12-19 May Academy Cinema
> Our exciting programme includes the radical, entertaining Resistencia - Hip
Hop in Colombia, and some of the finest documentaries currently touring the
globe. Further highlights include high profile British director Ken Loach's
dramatic feature, Bread and Roses starring Adrien Brody (currently in New
Zealand filming King Kong); and the controversial study of the September 11
hijackers, Hamburg Cell, produced by New Zealander Finola Dwyer.
> A host of other thought provoking and inspiring features, films and shorts
display the dignity, courage and humour of ordinary people in extraordinary
situations, withstanding tyranny and outrage to protect their human rights. The
festival gives us all a chance to see these films on the big screen, please pass
this email on to any friends you think might be interested.
> We are still seeking volunteers to distribute the programme, flyers and
posters. We'd also appreciate any suggestions on good spots to have our material
displayed. To show your interest, email us at the contacts below.
