Waitakere Ranges Heritage Area Bill at crucial stage

Please join the Waitakere Ranges Protection Society, the Auckland Region,
Waitakere City and Rodney District Councils plus many community groups as
they try and convince the Local Government Select Committee that we need to
secure the future of Auckland's iconic Waitakere Ranges.

As the culmination of 30 years of advocacy by the Waitakere Ranges
Protection Society, the submissions are sure to be impassioned and creative.

When?
The hearings run 9am to 5.30pm Thursday 20 July (lunch 1pm-2pm)
and 9am to midday Friday 21 July.  The Councils who are promoting the Bill
start things off on Thursday morning followed by the Waitakere Ranges
Protection Society, Environmental Defence Society and others.

The Trusts Stadium, Central Park Drive, Henderson
