Hi.
First things first. If you have no intention of reading this (let alone
replying) please dwell no further, simply type "No thanks B, even tho we
really appreciate it" or simply "No" and press reply. I will remove you
from our list and concentrate on someone who really cares (sob!)
Cheers.

Below then, is for those who're up for a party:
Hi
Hope things are really well with you all, appreciated the recent info from
you =~) Cheers, for that
Hope you're surviving ok, despite recent unrest, & trust Summer is
beginning to shed more light upon it all.
In past emails & I mentioned this Aotea Square gig on December 23rd. I
can re-send more detailed info for you to consider, if you like.
We would absolutely love to have you involved and any other indy/artistic
anarchistic collaborations would be most welcome.
Auckland activists, workers for Peace, you all know the layout of the
Square, it is an open environment, welcoming to all and informal.
What we'ld like is to fill this with colour and dancing, really utilize
this venue to draw in others, include the passers by who may be inspired
to help our visions by one well placed word, one random image of kindness.
We would love to fill the role of ambassadors of Aotearoa. To be welcoming
the Japanese & over seas delagates in the spirit of Peace & future
sustainabilty, representing the qualities you all believe people of this
country would be wise to invest in, at this point in thistory. All done
with artistic expression & communication.
We have a great selection of speakers & performing artists set between
6:30 - 9pm (The Peace Boat contingency will then need to depart on the
next leg of the journey)
So should be really brilliant evening!
Its gonna be an open street performance, but any publicity would still be
most welcome.
If you're up for it, something as simple as telling your mates about this,
putting the date in your diaries & turning up to party would be really
worthwhile. (And make it a hell of a lot more worthwhile getting meself
back home to Nz too!)
heres the jingle.."do something different this Christmas, party for peace!"
*Wish list*
*Everyone who's read this far, thinks its a good idea, or would like to be
part of the event:reply. Type: "yes"
Its noncommittal but will give me a show of hands. Thanks!
*If you would like copies of logos or info to print out/ post up/ put into
magazines etc,
I've been sent some brilliant pnw.nz logos, really inspiring stuff -
*Colourful banners/paintings/face paints or flyers on the day.
*Call up a small gathering of friends in town that night before or after
the gig to inspire yourselves & others.
*Contact local/favourite media with line up of events (I have that
more-or-less available with some performers tbc)
* Bring on the Dancers, capoeira & movement groups.
*Let your respective groups know what we're up to - I know its a busy time
of year, but its gonna be fun!!
*Tell your Japanese speaking mates/ neighbours/ school friends. This is
their night too.
*Organise an after party...
* This is a free, international event.
Peace Now is not a wishful idea - its what we need to continue our growth
as vital, independent & healthy individuals. Its how societies thrive. And
Aotearoa/ New Zealand is in a unique posistion right now to help this
happen.
Thanks for your time,
luv baraka.
