These are important considerations. In Poneke we have a separate =20
collective called the Community Resources Group which owns a number of =20
bits of equipment including a data projector and sound system which =20
can be borrowed cheap or free by community and activist groups. The =20
gear is stored at Oblong (activist internet space) and/or 128 social =20
centre and there is a booking system for sharing use and keeping track =20
of who has it.
The suggestion of a wiki page for equipment is a good one. Initially =20
you could list equipment you own personally which you are willing to =20
lend the use of. If you put down your name and contact info, people =20
can contact you with proposals for use which you can accept or reject =20
at your own discretion. Any equipment purchased with collective funds =20
(eg by Auckland Indy as a group) can then be added with information =20
about where it is to be stored and who to contact to use it.

"But libertarians do not defend the right of people to smash holes in the hull
of a crowded ship, or to let off bombs in city centres. Freedom does not
include the freedom to trash the habitat we all depend on for survival."
