Cheers there, nice going, listening in from NL just now. I'll keep you
posted on any bugs on the longer run (if any).

I'm listening to http://radio.us2.indymedia.org:8000/rnc2004.ogg.m3u now
and it seems fine. A word, or is that just me: tried to pick up the 8002
before which didn't work (it says it has 3 listeners though). I tend to
get annoyed with many stations using uncommon ports for their broadcasts
which means it's a hassle with adjusting your firewall and stuff if you
want to tune in. If that is relevant here I'm not sure (8002 might be
common tho' I don't think so), I should be able pick it up in learning
mode but quite often once it's blocked it will stay so till you reboot
your system, making it even more of a hassle right. I don't know but
maybe it's something to keep in mind. Oh I see now my Winamp is OK with
8000-8900 so that can't be it. Well just a general suggestion then.

Came right up, in a jiffy or what do you say.

Winamp 5. The song information I don't normally care about much but it's
cute I guess and yes it seems to work.

Sounds alright so far. A bit high on the trebles but hey that could be
at anyone's end, I could adjust it if I wanted to listen to it for a
week right ;)

A final word and this was what I meant before I guess with my questions
about the new radio.org.indy yellow pages directory thing + what is Indy
content or not, I see now that http://radio.indymedia.org/ lists the
Dutch (or Belgian?) "live scanner midden-brabant" and "lokale radio
gilze-rijen". I may have some idea who put them there and I think it's
great that that stuff exists, and no I'm not gonna get into an
international pissing contest about who goes up there or not, but
frankly I wonder if stations like that should be on an international
Indymedia page like this. I mean let them be linked in the links section
or something, and even there I have my doubts in this case, and keep in
mind that if you go that way your overview is gonna be sheer endless.

Cheers,

Pieter
