BLAST FURNACE NEEDS YOUR HELP !!!


"blast furnace radio" will be five years old this year. our internet radio
station has been put together by a number of people and equipment has been
donated from many sources.  finally we have had three computers built to
carry the load of an audio / video stream and a private server to better
assist other web / community / pirate radio stations. our station has
carried us to 13 cites for various uprisings against war and corporate
globalization. last march "blast furnace radio" organized a "journalist 
delegation to iraq".

but now it is time to make "blast furnace radio" more of a resource to the
community in pittsburgh and throughout the world...



WISH LIST

- tech people to network our studio computers, etc. 
- people to do community and internet outreach
- to find a relay server to give us the resources to have more listeners
- for listeners to send us their favorite mp3's
- some volunteers to help with promo and fund raising
- dj's in studio and people in other cites to produce their own radio
  shows
- for others to record different events and concerts in the community
- interview folk and make them into mp3s for broadcasting 
- to start moving to FM broadcasting
- to help digitize our mountain of analog audio and burn to cd's
- to start to investigate the resources to start a web tv station
- to set up live feeds of community and music events
