[IMC-Audio] VCR as audio recorder

We have been doing this for many years -- was first turned
onto this technique by John Magyar of Psychospace Sound.

A Hi-Fi VCR is hands down the best analogue recording device
you can find for cheap (i.e. under $500). The media is readily
available, it's got very good audio bandwidth.

I haven't run across a VCR that requires a faked video input.
On ours we just feed the audio in and ignore the video completely.
No problem...
