Hi, I'd like to do some mucking around with the many gigs of
uploads on radio.indymedia.org. Much of this is mp3s but there's a
decent-sized chunk that I think should be removed from the site;
not removed from the server (yet) in case it's the only copy out
there.

Here's my proposal:
-- Convert all wav files to flac.
-- No longer allow wav uploads or if we do, convert them to flac
   (they're a big waste of space)
-- Convert all RealAudio files to flac (and no longer support rm)
-- Remove from the site: RealVideo, WMV, AVI, MPEG video, QuickTime
-- Remove from the site: JPEG, PDF, GIF, PNG (this is a radio site!
   but we should probably allow people to use <IMG> tags in posts)
-- load all txt and html uploads into the database and remove files
   (it's a security vulnerability to allow HTML uploads)

bandwidth and space are both limited and allowing arbitrary uploads
for an almost completely unmoderated site has been pretty crazy. ;)
