An update from my end of things:

Me and Jaquie can try to work on this while in Amman. I have an idea
for a contact there, a local journalist with the Star Newspaper named
Rana Sweis. I will try to contact her when there and see if she
might be interested. I assume the discs would go out with trusted
drivers going to Amman from Baghdad?

equipment.

I am leaving Portland on Saturday 31st, and stop through NYC and
London briefly on my way. I land in Tel Aviv on the 3rd, and plan to
be in Amman on the 4th to meet up w/ Jacquie. I'm not sure exactly
how long after that it will take us to get to Bagdhad, but should be
soon. I am going to be bringing a PC laptop for them (donated by a
super cool imc woman in nyc) loaded w/ software (Jacquie is working
on this) and hopefully arabic language support if we can figure it
out. also we are in the process of getting the money raised into my
account and as long as I get it before I leave I will have it with
me. However no one has told me an exact ammount yet. Kareem, you
can also tell Ramzi that a man named Pierre contacted me about
delivering some money to him, and if he hasn't taken care of that yet
I'm fine with delivering that as well. Hopefully all will go
smoothly and we'll be there soon.

super exciting that Ramzi has a house now. looking forward to meeting.

Andy
