Hi all

It has occured to me that we hope this group will be able to establish themselves as self sufficient as soon as possible.

One way that has been a big help for media activist groups like Undercurrents in the UK is to sell DV footage to broadcasters.  They have a lot of potential for this if DV cameras are provided.  

It is very important to consider PAL system cameras over NTSC as PAL converts easily to NTSC with no loss of quality.  This does not work the other way round.

I know this is thinking for the longterm, but worth thinking about.

It would also mean all UK and European activist groups would be able to screen any films they may make as well as US groups.
