Summary - brief comments & ideas about the website.

Update - we upgraded the server.  There's been busy periods, but everything 
seems ok now.

I moved all the articles from almuajaha into 'local relevance' on the 
newswire.  I posted some into here rather than to the features - not sure 
why, just experimenting really.

The site seems good - I quite like this dada system.  I made ramzi and editor 
so hopefully they will be able to get more involved.

Thoughts about customising the site: need to change the categories probably, 
to better suit the newspaper.  

Any luck with reading the publisher files?  None here yet - I can't locate a 
copy of the software.

One idea I had was to change the posting form to hard code the 'local 
relevance' field so all newswire postings go to the 'other' newswire.  This 
would keep it open but tie it down a bit.

Editors can still promote postings to the local section, or to the frontpage 
[features section].

Hmmm, there's some great pictures been posted.  Not sure about the spanish 
cartoons though....

Sam suggested we remove the indymedia logo - not quite sure about this myself 
- i quite like it :o)

I'm still trying to find local arabic speakers to help adminsiter the site.  
There's a meeting / fundraiser tonight so that may help.  Anyone in UK / 
anywhere with arabic skills and an internet get in touch!
