have mercy with your local/global list administrator and subscribe 
before you send things to this list. it's easy:

click on http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/listinfo/imc-communication, 
subscribe, send a roll call with whatever you would like to be public 
about yourself, and then, but only then, send e-mails to the list. 
(everything else gets stuck in the administration and needs to be 
approved by hand) (this is also and especially addressed to everyone who 
pleases him/herself with several e-mail accounts).

if you can't resist the urge to write about local conflicts please take 
another 5+x minutes to think (and write) about why you want to send it 
to this global list. and what you expect people to do.

last but not least - to avoid confusion: imc-communication is *not* a 
liaison list. anyone who is active with indymedia can subscribe.

it looks like for the belgian conflict it might be a good idea if the 
local collectives try to speak via liaisons, but i'm not sure that a 
consensus was reached about this.
