i agree with afamia

Should we have a link for this? Can someone do it as I don't know how.
Mo, why should we hide that article. It is an opinion that we can respond
to. what do you think?

Dear friends,
Today is the official unveiling of the Michigan Media Watch website
and I wanted to share it with all of you. If you were a member, you
would have access to much more comprehensive information on the
inside, however, please use the site and browse around and pass it on
to all of your friends and acquaintances that you feel may have an
interest.
Thank you,
Joanne Manna
Dear MMW members,
On behalf of the coordinators of Michigan Media Watch, I'm proud to
unveil today the Michigan Media Watch website; www.mmwatch.org . Much
work, time, effort and consideration were put into the creation of
this site, mostly by Sherri Muzher, Joanne Manna, and the outstanding
graphic design agency "Chromovision", headed by Issa Eways. I am
humbled and privileged to have worked with them on this project, and
am sure you will be as proud of the site as we are.
A few notes on the site:
1) The website itself requires Flash, so if you do not have this on
your computer, you can download this at :
http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
2) Also, when you have this done, please go ahead and browse around
on the home page, and click on the various items all over the page and
in the background; you will be delightfully surprised!
3) When going onto the site, there is an area you will find for
registration. This registration area is for MMWatch members only.
Please go ahead and register here, which will give you access to many
features of the site exclusive to members only, upon acceptance of the
registration by one of the coordinators. When you do register, you
must register using the same e-mail address that you use for MMW.
We ask that people on the list forward this site to other lists and
organizations that they are members of, as well as friends. This
website was designed to be a one stop resource about the Middle East,
and there is nothing like it anywhere on the Web! Much consideration
was given to every detail, graph and link, and the efforts of those
mentioned above cannot be overstated. This is a humble beginning in
pursuit of a nationwide effort for other states to follow suit and
monitor their own state's media outlets, in order to truly be a force
to reckon with.
Thank you to all those who are writing and continue to write and make
a difference, and inspire us to do the same.
Forward !
Rifat, Sherri, Joanne
Additional Note:
In unveiling the new website today, the coordinators of the MMW want
to let our members know that the organizations we have listed under
"Michigan Links" is not a final representation of every Arab
organization in Michigan and we apologize for any important omissions
that we may have overlooked in compiling our information. If you know
of a Michigan organization that you feel should be included, please
send a link of their website directly to me for consideration.
And let it direct your passion with reason, that your passion may live
through its own daily resurrection, and like the phoenix rise above its
own ashes. ~Khalil Gibran
