Dear Anas and anyone else concerned with press freedom in the MENA. 
This is just the point. The Assad cartoon is not in the IHT of Saturday, 11.Feb.06! 

It looks like Syria still has more to say in Lebanon than we think because the Daily Star publishes the IHT and the Ba'ath puppets here in Lebanon had the editor-in-cheif put in jail several times over the years. But why now? I thought we were "free!"  ;-(
