[Imc-beirut] feature and meeting

Hey all,

I think we should post something as a feature, it has been such a long
time without updating the central column; and posting that greenpeace
update is a good follow up.

I also posted the news about Aubonne bridge. I wonder if it is o.k. with
people to put it as breaking news. This trial was one of several ongoing
trials against police brutality during international protests.

I am still pending from Helem about a link I suggested to them about a
group of women I am doing a one-month work with, dealing with safe
abortions done at home using medications... but there was a doubt of legal
concerns for advertising something like this. This is a campaign and has a
political message behind it. I wonder if we can consider making a link to
their website from Indymedia Beirut. They will soon post their info in
Arabic. So can you discuss this in the meeting please.

Film festival? What is happening? Any list of tasks to be done?

Um Micky will be coming to see me, she will be able to take some sweets
with her.
