Hi,
Thanks for sending this draft proposal - is seems to be a clear
description of what the group wants its current stance to be.

If you all agree, I would add to this paragraph (it's the third
paragraph of the draft) the text which is in quotes below:

> We would still like to keep the main mailing list because there are people
> in Beirut known to us who are interested in the project, but don't have
> the capacity right now to take over. We don't think that these friends
> should have to go through a new process once they decide to enable the
> website again.

"We would like help any new or old volunteers who step in to shoulder
some of the work in order to renew/refresh our operations, by training,
guiding and sharing the imc-beirut facilities to maintain continuity
with the existing (and previous) imc-beirut formation instead of the
group having to start all over entirely from zero again."

And of course I (Petros) will also commit myself to help in any way
possible to re-start/refresh imc-Beirut with any new or old volunteers
who step in to help now, or in the near future.

If you agree with the above proposal, or anything in that spirit, please
add those words - it will help the rest of the indy network to
understand that there won't be a need for a totally new group to start
all over again from a new application to new-imc, etc, but that we'll
assemble, if possible, volunteers locally and abroad who can just become
an extension, a continuation of the current group. I hope this is
agreeable to you all.

Many thanks for your consideration and for all your committed efforts,
Petros
