[Imc-bigmuddy] cities list

Hello,
Thanks for the email. That's part of why I keep bringing up the
question, because as I understand it, we could get the form itself
completed fairly quickly. To me, it's about more than just the Cities
list. That's a big part of it, because I want people worldwide to be
able to find us. But more importantly, I want us to be an "official"
part of the IMC network.
As you mention, someone could contest the form, and we would probably
have to do additional work to verify that we are indeed in line with
the IMC principles [or have a reasonable plan for getting there]. But
why not just turn in the form and see what happens?
As far as I know, we've already discussed the questions at length. If
nothing else, any further questions that people have in response to our
form will be a good point of focus -- both in terms of how to reply and
get on the Cities list, AND in terms of improving our own efforts here
in Carbondale.
I say that we organize a single meeting where we pull together all of
the information that has already been talked about, throw in any final
comments, put it all on the form, turn the form in, and see what
happens. If someone can get me a copy of the form, I'm willing to be
point person on this -- at least as far as getting this blessed form
turned in goes. Once we know what the reply is, we can take it from
there as a group.
Love and Healing,
Treesong
> I am on this list to help you guys get through any typcial initial
IMC hurdles on the way to getting on the cities list. As I remember
it, Kristen has pretty much everything you need except your response
(which could be like one sentnece long) to the diversity statement.
So, I think you could have your form completed relatively quickly.
However, outreach is important, and it is possible someone will
question you on the size of your collective and the diversity and
outreach you have done to incorporate a diverse group.
