the vast majority of IMCs are not non-profits on their own, and prefer
to use fiscal sponsorship through another non-profit. Taking on the
responsibilities of becoming a non-profit corporation is not something
I would ever want to undertake. HIMC has fiscal sponsorship through
the southwest alternative media project, and it makes our lives much
easier than trying to do all that ourselves.
