[Imc-bigmuddy] Public Access Carbondale

As many of you may know, the city's contract with Mediacom is up for renewal this November with the possible addition of a public access channel.  There has been the beginnings of an administrative body (Public Access Carbondale - PAC) put together that would be necessary for the station to function.  The details are mostly unknown to me, though I know that several BMIMC members were instrumental in the creation of the group's bylaws etc. a year or two ago, some of which are still involved.

Anyway, according to Chris Wissman: 

Item 6.2 of the Tuesday, October 17 City Council Meeting is Review of Mediacom Franchise Agreement. A link to a PDF of the City Manager's report and the most-recent draft of the contract is here:

IF ANYONE CAN ATTEND EITHER OF THESE MEETINGS, TAKE NOTES AND SEND THEM OUT OVER THIS LIST, PLEASE DO SO!

It would be nice to have a story in November's Muddy Media covering this issue.  If someone wanted to take the initiative to put a story together, that would be incredible, but if it is more convenient to simply gather information and pass it off, that would be great as well.
