Binghamton Regional Sustainability Coalition: General Meeting Thursday, 25

Open, general meeting of Binghamton Regional Sustainability Coalition.
Occurs monthly, fourth Thursday of every month.

Pot-luck always begins at 5:30pm, with meeting starting promptly at 6:00pm.

Please see the group's website for more information of coalition and events.

General meetings are a great chance for new and interested members to gain a
better understanding of the coalition's work. General meetings involve
report back from each committee with a focused discussion on one or two
items in particular. Very welcoming environment.

Please come and express yourself at the weekly Peace & Justice vigil. This
vigil has been weekly since the late 1990's. Bring your own sign about Peace
and Justice or use one of ours that are available. Whether you join us for 5
minutes or the whole hour it is important to be there.

NonViolent Communication Wednesday, 08 July 2009

Have you ever wondered if there really is a way all people can live in
peace? Have you ever longed to reach a point of understanding with someone
you care about, when you find yourselves divided by disagreements or
differences? Maybe you long to express what you really feel or what is
important to you. If so, you may be interested in joining this study group,
using the book, Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life, by Marshall
Rosenberg. Call the church office to register at 748-7434; book cost is $13.
