--------------------------------------------
I want to propose a few additions to the website and
listen to feedback and comments.
1. Add a link to the Southern Tier Progressive
Coalition Resource Directory. See here:
http://www.modocpress.com/STPCDirectory.html
Where can we include this? How? Maybe this is a chance
to re-introduce the BUTTONS that others seemed to like
(me, me, me!!). Looking at the left column, here are
the items I think would be nice to include, in order
from top to bottom:
ACCOUNT LOGIN box
CALENDAR box
BUTTON box
- CONTACT
- SUBSCRIBE
- DONATE
- CHAT BOARD
- ALLIES (and include directory here)
VIEWS box
SYNIDCATION
INFORMATION: I think we should include a SPECIAL
REPORTS link, which could open to page of special
reports: Cable contract; SP4 (all articles and
tribunal links); Walmart Movie (see below)
MEDIA CENTERS: !!! I promised US-IMC workgroup that
we'd add www.indymedia.us immediately under
www.indymedia.org. Can somebody please do this? !!!
2. Since I'm really gonna push this Walmrt Movie big
time (and already have four co-sponsors), I'd like to
write a SPECIAL REPORT for Walmart Screening because
there are some great links and graphics we can include
from the film's website. And this way if we have promo
materials, I can upload, invite co-sponsors to the
site to download, and ultimately direct new traffic to
the site. If we can not only build a big alliance of
co-sponsors for this film, but also show them how
useful the site can be to coordinate outreach and
communication, we'll have done a WHOLE lot of good.
SO....How would I go about making one of these? Or,
would a volunteer like to design one? I'm willing to
learn, but also willing to step aside and let another
volunteer get involved.
Thanks for listening to my thoughts.
Peace,
tarik
