[Imc-birmingham] Press Query - Films season

The decision about crediting quotes won't be the journo's decision - it'll be an editorial rule. I know Chris and he's a good bloke and worth sending stuff to IMO. The reason it was short notice was 'cos he asked to get in touch whilst I was away and the mac PR didn't know how to contact Indymedia.

Oops looks like this one passed us by.

I was feeling a bit hesitant about answering all those questions. Why do
mainstream journos need to attibute these things in this way? Perhaps we
could have collectively 'answered' them by pointing him to
articles/features we and other people have written? For instance i was
thinking about directing him to the http://docs.indymedia.org page on
research questions or maqui's report on the imc at climate camp. Dunno
how people would react to being answered by articles.

Perhaps we need to be more prepared for this kinda thing in the future,
mind you we didn't get much notice ;)

phunkee

btw maybe he's up for covering other stuff, like our future events. Is
this a good thing do you reckon?
