[Imc-birmingham] Vale Festival 2007

Hi everybody,
We are looking into screening a few shorts at this years Vale Festival at the
University of Birmingham on June 12th 2007 on a large screen which we are going
to be showing a longer film on. The theme of the event is 'the humanitarian
impacts of climate change', so ideally shorts related to this :-). I say
possibility because we don't know what equipment the people who are screening
the big film are using....but I just thought I would let everyone know so you
could have a think if you would be interested in helping to prepare a set of
shorts. The films will probably be watched by ~2,000 people btw.

Also, it would be great to have other Indymedia involvement if you think you
would get something out of it. A possibility is creating an area where we could
screen films throughout the day. At the moment we have the space but not any of
the facilities for this, so it would probably have to be a completely indymedia
initiative (i would certainly give you what help i could manage though!).
