Hi Steve,
Sorry i'm not going to be around on June 2nd, but i think it's something
we should definitely support.
Can anyone else get over to Redditch for the Green Fair?
I'm gonna miss them free veggie food samples too.
phunkee Hi all,
We currently have a situation in Redditch(which i`m sure is the same in
many towns) where the corporate media ignore the important issues they
should be covering, in favour of rubbish that is just a waste of paper.
We regularly try to publicise local events in the papers, with very
little luck. It would be great to show Redditch people that they don`t
need to rely on the corporate media, an alternative already exists, ie
Indymedia. Ultimately, if more local people could become motivated, we
could perhaps get our own fortnightly/monthly radical newssheet off the
ground! :)
We have a great selection of stallholders coming to the green fair, but
at present, no radical grassroots campaigners that could distribute
Indymedia leaflets, copies of the latest Schnews, climate camp leaflets
etc. So if there`s anyone out there that would like to cover that kind of
stuff for us, please get in touch.
Cheers,
Steve
