I don't feel that strongly about this and as flatline has pointed out 
this is a publicly archived list, but i should point out that there are 
other 'mainstream' journos on this list. One of which i know is very 
receptive to press releases from grassroots groups and isn't necessarily 
here to fish for scoops and then distort them to suit their media 
institution's agenda.

So, can i propose a compromise?

Seeing as we agreed to unsubscribe everyone who hasn't contributed 
constructively over the last month, then surely this will include all 
the journos?

I think we also agreed that people could rejoin our list and i proposed 
that they'd have to introduce themselves, state their intentions and 
commit to some work.

What do people reckon?
