Yep, you're right - we do kinda have a policy about this, and on the uk
site i believe it's also policy that someone will report on these events
too. So if you put something up there, we assume you or someone else is
gonna report on it.
I'm working on putting something up about the two events and i planned
to have it up yesterday but something 'came up'.
btw these are 'our' events as indymedia and 'some of us' work pretty
hard writing pieces on them.
I made an point of asking people to post something up in the past to
encourage them to use the newswire, otherwise they just expect us to
post their event up on the calendar and they can't be arsed to report on
anything.
There's an interesting development on the calendar front, yossarian has
developed a purpose built calendar that all the regions should be able
to use very soon. This is c 'n p'd from the uk-process list, although i
can't get the link to work at the moment, but it did look really impressive:
