Normally we wouldn't translate an article straight into a feature. 

Middle column features normally consist of at least a couple of newswire posts.
The disadvantage of this is our features aren't that dynamic, unless there's
already some articles knocking around on the newswire that relate to it.

Although in this case, cos it's a great scoop and thanks to open publishing it's
gone up quicker than the mainstream media, perhaps we should reconsider the our
feature process? 

I know bristol imc for example don't wait around for articles to be generated,
and they've got a very high turn around on features and they're pretty high
quality.

I'm up for relaxing this process, in favour of getting more features up on the
middle column.

What do other people reckon?
