Me too.. although there's the danger that people will start proposing
single articles as features, meaning that features might gradually become
less collective and not reflecting the newswire.

My own take is to set a sort of criteria for these *exceptions* and make
that clear to people. Something like: original article/scoop on an
important and  urgent issue (political, social struggle etc.)...
