apologies for any apparent defensiveness, none intended, i was just 
trying to answer your concerns. as you reckon i'm misunderstanding you, 
and as i reckon you're misunderstanding me, perhaps our understanding of 
each other would be better served by face-to-face discussion - email can 
give all the wrong signals as james has observed, as well as not being a 
good way to dialogue.
i would be grateful if you could commit to coming to the meeting with 
tony to swiftly resolve the issues we've been discussing: swift 
resolution is one thing we definitely see eye-to-eye on.
keep an eye on this list for the meeting date when its set.
