when tony attends b-imc meetings we do tend to get bogged down by him
raising matters about himself, and this has in the past frustrated new
and old people alike, and some have commented on this as a potential
reason for not getting more involved. so yes, putting off new (and old)
people is a real concern.
but hey, thats not to say he shouldnt come along, although when i saw
him on monday he said he was happy not to: who knows?
also just to acknowledge here on the archive the emails from other
bristol imc'ers and from many uk-imc people around the country, thanking
me for getting the ball rolling on this - i appreciate that people do
want to get this sorted. i must stress here that it was contact from
the uk group that caused me to begin on this, i have absolutely no
personal interest in doing so, and no personal issue with tony - altho i
am frustrated i'm happy to be civil about it. i'm glad people have
found it useful for me to act as catalyst, and all things considered, i
havent had to take that much flak for it (as yet) but i'm v glad to have
handed responsibility over to group now.
right, off to distribute our lovely new leaflets
