Yet we've seen evidence of Ian sending abusive emails to another BIMCer.  

"i did shamefully loose my temper with him on the phone b4 xmas and threatened to punch him out after he ffwded private correspondence on to the Bristol list " - Ian

So in addition to sending abusive email he has also threatened another BIMCer with violence.

"Goslings shit" (twice) - Ian, abuse actually on the list, that he has yet not been reprimanded for (as far as we know)

Now, again, I dont know Ian and he has offered to step down, but I really feel that a reprimand and reasonable, proportional punishment would have been better than stepping off the project.  I feel the same about the issues with Tony, except of course you're throwing him off rather than dealing with it like adults.

This sort of behaviour is really immature and irresponsible and makes the already in tatters reputation of BIMC even worse.  All the accuisations against Tony about his damaging BIMC, (by giving a tiny interview to a university student?), Im afraid the real damage has been done by Ian and Kyra, and whoever else follows blindly along with no thought towards actual justice and sense.
