Anyone up for this? I don't think I'll be able to make it. We should let
CAN know either way.
Also, if anyone else who's actively involved with the collective would
like to be on the contact list, speak up -- it only gets occasional
traffic when people would rather their email address and/or message
isn't publicly archived.
Zak.

Dear Indymedia,
The Cambridge Action Network (CAN) is oranising a public meeting for
Wednesday October 11th, at 7 pm. It will feature speakers from a number
of Cambridge organising groups, and invited participants include:
Cambridge Campaign Against the Arms Trade, People & Planet, CUSU Greens,
Education not for Sale, The Green Forum, Campeace, UNITE, The
Palestinian Solidarity Campaign, Indymedia, The Autonomous Study
Project, Just living, the Traveller Support Network, The Cambridge
Action Network, and No Chains.
The aim is to let Cambridge residents know about local organising
efforts, and find out how they can get involved. We would be grateful if
Indymedia could send a speaker. The format is that each group has a
maximum of 2 minutes to tell people what their group is doing. There
will be an opportunity for questions and we will then break off into
groups so that participants will have the opportunity to join a
discussion with you about how to get involved in your group or the
issues which you address. We may then reconvene for a wrap-up session.
There will also be a table where groups can place a pamphlet and sign
up sheet.
If you are able to send someone, please let me know. We also wish to
ensure that the gender and diversity of our community is represented, so
we ask that this is reflected in your choice of speaker. Speakers
should arrive between 6:30-6:45 and the venue is the Friends Meeting
House, 12 Jesus Lane, Cambridge
