Dear Indymedia,  
Hi, I'm Louise and  I'm writing to you from the 209radio newsdesk.
On our Friday afternoon show this week, our presenter is looking at 
"news" all things newsy, We're  getting together a guest panel to come 
into the studio and discuss the news.
Laura Heal ( the presenter) would like to ask such questions as "Who 
dictates which stories make the news?" What angles stories have and who 
decides these angles? How much can we trust in the news?  How much 
influence is put on the news by different people i.e. government etc.?
These are just a few questions that Laura would like to discuss.
Please could you get back to me and let me know if you know of any news 
presenters, directors, producers or journalists or indeed anyone who has 
something to contribute to this discussion who would like to come along 
this Friday to fill one of our guest slots?
