In the run-up to the upcoming G8 summit in Germany, it was decided that an
English section on the Indymedia Germany site would be necessary, as tens
of thousands of international protesters and activists are expected to
come and do their own reporting in languages other than German. This has
now been set up (http://de.indymedia.org/en) and is already seeing some
activity (En newswire and features). Most of the core logistics (publish
form etc.) have been translated into English, so it should be easy for
people to use it as any other English-speaking Indymedia site.

Please use this to post your English reports, translations, pictures and
video footage, and publicise it by all means possible!
