IFP/Chicago's Short Cuts
Sunday, July 29 - 7:00pm
at Chicago Filmmakers (5243 N. Clark St.)
Chicago Filmmakers is pleased to host the latest IFP/Chicago "Short Cuts"
program, featuring an exciting line-up of local work.
Program includes:
Cast Shadows in Technicolor (Robert Quick, 6 mins.): A rockin' geezer saves
a girl from zombies.
Canasta's Microphone Song (Alex Mechlin, 5 mins.): A music video featuring
Chicago's own Canasta.
Lost Track (Christopher 'Halacy' Bowen, 5 mins.): An animated love story.
Untied Strangers (Nathan Adlloff, 18 mins.)
Grayland (Michael Duffy, 11 mins.): Graham Martin has neither class nor
tact, unfortunately for him the judgmental woman's voice in his head has
both.
Day of the Pigeon (Michael Duffy, 11 mins.): A bunch of homeless people in
matching outfits lay siege to a dysfunctional family's house.
The House of Suh - (Iris K. Shim, 23 mins.): Obligation, choice and loyalty
are the values called into question in this compelling portrait of the Suhs,
a Korean-American family whose quest for the American Dream would end in the
tragic collapse of their household.
Admission: FREE for Chicago Filmmakers and IFP/Chicago members; $5.00
general.
