WAUCC is seeking to fill the position of Church Office Administrator.  This position provides office and administrative support to WAUCC’s pastor, church committees and congregation.  The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, computer, time management and interpersonal skills and be able to multitask and work without extensive supervision.  He or she also must be able to maintain strong boundaries and confidentiality and be aware of the mission of our church, including the many communities that we serve. 

 

Duties include: phones; setting up and maintaining files; backing up computer data; posting data to the Wellington website; maintaining membership directory and processing mailings; maintaining visitor database; managing pledge directory, bill payments and deposits through electronic software system; managing paper and electronic correspondence; preparing weekly church bulletins; copying materials; record keeping; ordering office and building supplies; maintaining event calendars and distribution of keys; greeting visitors to the building and serving as liaison with janitor staff, various vendors, and building users (including renters and property and finance committee).  Applicants must have a thorough working knowledge of Windows XP; Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; and Quicken and be willing to learn Membership Plus 2007, Wordpress and Corel Paint Shop Pro X2 Photo.  



This position is part-time, 30 to 34 hours per week, with compensation that ranges from $14 to $16/hour, depending on qualifications.
