[Imc-chicago] Seeking archival media about May Molina for Doc

Hi Indymedia Collective:

My name is Prerna Sampat and I am a documentary filmmaker.  I am writing to
request archival photos, audio or video about May Molina and the aftermath
of her death in CPD custody.  I am seeking these materials for a documentary
about criminal justice system reform activist May Molina-  looking at her
life as an activist, and her suspicious death in police custody, and the
community's response.

To give you a bit more background on the goals of this project, I have
attached a Summary Proposal-  the working title for the film is "Criminally
Unjust".  Please feel free to send me feedback or questions if you have any.
 Also I would appreciate your help in
getting in contact with any of the people listed in Section IV of the
proposal- some were interviewed in past Indymedia coverage.


   - Photographs of the post raid scene were posted at
   http://chicago.indymedia.org/newswire/display/41794/index.php once upon a
   time, but they are no longer working.  I am seeking these photographs and
   any footage of the aftermath of this raid.
   - Also, I was in attendence at the heated Police Board meeting in late
   May 2004, and I recall some cameras being present during the meeting.  Any
   leads on this footage would be very greatly appreciated.
   - Also any video from the vigil at Belmont and Western or from her
   funeral, or from her activism before her death would also be appreciated.
